British newspaper: London will withdraw half of its warplanes from Iraq

confirmed the British Daily Mail newspaper on Tuesday that he will withdraw more than half of Britain 's military aircraft operating in Iraq and Syria. 

Eight Royal Air Force troops will be returned to Britain next month, which will reduce the number of aircraft battling from 14 to 6, she said.

The move comes after Donald Trump announced the sudden withdrawal of US troops from the war-ravaged area. 

However, British military commanders said they were still ready to strike terrorists, or if Bashar Assad used chemical weapons against his people again. 

The RAF Typhoon's six warplanes and up to 10 Reaper UAVs will continue in the Middle East. 

The newspaper said that "British special forces, which are still carrying out secret missions in Syria, is also expected to leave the country when the withdrawal of US elite forces."
