parliament is sending a shocking news: the Iraqi government does not have a plan to supply electricity in the summer

A member of the Iraqi Council of Representatives for the province of Basra Uday Awad on Saturday that the federal government does not have any plan to provide electricity during the summer.

"Through our knowledge of the work of the Ministry of Electricity, we found that there is no plan for the coming summer, and there is waste of public funds and there is no serious in fixing the contracts and procedures," Awad told a news conference.

"He warned of" the return of peaceful demonstrations in Basra and the rest of the provinces in the event of great action to overcome the actual past failures, as happened last summer. "

Oud called on "the ministry to develop a plan that includes schedules of the expected hours of preparation for each province and the rest of the details of the work and the installation of contracts and procedures of the day," saying that "without them we will use our legal and constitutional powers to defend the rights of the masses."
