[ltr]Informed sources said the US military presence in Iraq would be long-term as Iraq would become one of the most important US bases in the Middle East[/ltr]

[ltr]The sources said that US forces have begun to ask translators of Iraqi nationality and Arabs residing in the United States to work inside Iraq as interpreters[/ltr]

[ltr]She pointed out that this request came for the purpose of recruiting translators inside Iraq from two categories, the first to work in the street with soldiers, and the second category of work within the bases of the Americans[/ltr]

[ltr]The sources added that a large number of translators were required, as well as why they were selected from Iraqis and Arabs living in the United States[/ltr]

[ltr]The sources said that this ensures the safety of the security situation of personnel working[/ltr]
