The Finance Ministry is preparing a "financial correction" plan that includes restructuring the public debt and proposing solutions to spare Lebanon "dramatic developments," the finance minister said in comments published on Thursday.
 
According to "Reuters" Minister Ali Hassan Khalil told the news that the plan was not disclosed to any party.
"This requires decisions in the Council of Ministers, involving the parliamentary blocs, the Central Bank of Lebanon, the banks ... and others who are concerned with the solutions that we will propose to spare Lebanon dramatic developments."
 
"Public debt can not continue this way."
