He added that "the office received information from the Office of the Inspector-General of the Ministry of Finance regarding the manipulation of a bag of real estate in the province of Nineveh area of more than (55) dunums and an estimated value of two billion and (475) million dinars."

The inspector general explained that the committee conducted an investigation of the real estate properties, and issued statements by a number of employees to find out that there were manipulations by illegally assigning the property to two citizens and issuing a title in their name.
