Warned Rafidain Bank, on Monday, the existence of fake pages and fraudulent social networking sites claim to grant loans and advances to employees and retirees of electronic card holders from the bank.
The bank's media office said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News that "there are social networking sites that carry news about Wahood's predecessor and immediate loans for pensioners and employees." He added that "these pages are fictitious, fraudulent and shady aimed at stealing employees' money and pensioners illegally."
The statement added that "the only party to grant advances and loans are the branches of the bank deployed in Baghdad and the provinces and any citizen can visit those branches and apply to the advances."
