On Wednesday, the Labor Council held a deliberative session to discuss the topics on its agenda, notably decent work and cooperation with ministries and social partners to address the problems facing the labor sector in the country. A copy of which, chaired the session on behalf of the Minister in the presence of representatives of the Ministry in the Council and representatives of the Federation of Iraqi Industries and Trade Unions in Iraq: The main axes of the Ministry during the next phase include activating cooperation with local and international organizations and benefit Of its potential to develop performance, pointing out that the ministry is in direct contact with social partners such as the Federation of Iraqi Industries and Trade Unions to develop new mechanisms and plans for the advancement of the labor sector in the country. Al-Amiri said that the next meeting will address the ministry's ideas and directions on how to benefit from the local and international capacities to develop the ministry's capabilities, as well as activating the rights of people with disabilities through various initiatives, including the initiative of friends, And special needs No. 38 of 2013 in line with the requirements of this segment, as well as work is under way to amend the law of social protection to expand the coverage of poor groups.
