The Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning, on Tuesday, that 25.4% of Iraqi families have pensions.
"25.4% of households have a pension," the agency said in a statistical report. "7.5% of the families received cash assistance from the government and 4% received gifts and assistance from civil society organizations."
The agency added that "95% of the families received a ration," pointing out that "98% of the families indicated that the ration is important for them."
The Central Statistical Organization adopts the Statistics Law No. 21 of 1972 amending and includes the mandatory aspect of collecting statistical data while ensuring the confidentiality of information and determining the rights and duties of respondents and beneficiaries, and is the competent authority in all matters related to the various statistics.
