The idea of re-appointing and sending a Jordanian ambassador to Tehran has suddenly been put on the Jordanian side as part of an attempt to diversify economic and trade options with Iraq.

Jordan's Prime Minister Dr. Omar al-Razzaz will visit Baghdad on his second foreign visit at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation to discuss bilateral relations, especially the outstanding economic projects between the two countries.

Political circles considered the move an attempt to reach an understanding with the Iranian lobby in Iraq, which in practice hampered several projects between the two countries, including the oil pipeline.

The media estimated that the re-appointment and naming of a Jordanian ambassador in Tehran of the issues that will accompany the dialogue with the Iraqi government and representatives of the parliamentary blocs on the sidelines of the visit to Al-Razaz.

Thinking about it is no longer forbidden in Oman.

Oman withdrew its ambassador to Tehran, Abdullah Abu Rumman, more than two years ago in solidarity with Saudi Arabia, but returned to another country and did not name any new ambassador.

The Jordanian embassy in Tehran is working with a diplomatic team without the ambassador.

As long as he considered the appointment and naming of ambassador of the steps required to establish good relations with the Iraqi government.

Damascus also sent a new message to Oman demanding publicly to accelerate the upgrading of diplomatic representation in the Jordanian embassy in the Syrian capital.

The Syrian Charge d'affaires in Amman, Ayman Alloush, said that his country is looking forward to appointing ambassadors and to the return of diplomatic representation to the highest level between the two sides as it was before 2011, saying that the staff of the Jordanian embassy in Damascus is "administrative" only and includes a group of administrators considering that this is a reference to the minimum diplomatic representation .

For the first time, a Syrian official publicly demands Jordan to lift diplomatic representation as steps are accelerated in Jordan itself towards the exchange of ambassadors with Damascus.

Alloush said that the relations between the two countries and the two peoples are historical and that the leadership in the two countries is interested in them and it is appropriate for them to be diplomatic in a way that reflects their reality and is worthy of them.

The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II drew the attention of parliamentarians who visited Damascus recently that Jordan is heading for the exchange of ambassadors.

In the context of Jordan's diversification and the game of ambassadors and representation, observers stressed that the other step expected from Jordan, which is currently studying is the return of the Qatari ambassador to Amman after his request to leave last year in solidarity with the Saudi-UAE embargo on the State of Qatar
