The head of a coalition of state law Nuri al-Maliki to the Minister of Electricity Luay Khatib, on Wednesday, the need to work to end the problem of electricity in the country.
Maliki's office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News that the latter received "the Minister of Electricity Luay Khatib, and during the meeting a detailed review of the reality of the work of the ministry and the services and obstacles to its work."
Maliki stressed, according to the statement, the need to "upgrade the Ministry of Electricity services provided to the citizen, and overcome the faults and work to end the problem of electricity."
For his part, Khatib presented "his vision and future plans to improve the current power supply and address the shortage of equipment," stressing his determination to "find effective solutions that contribute to it."
