Baghdad Chamber of Commerce discussed with the Chinese Embassy on Wednesday ways of joint cooperation between Iraq and China, especially upgrading the trade by relying on the geographical location of Iraq.
The head of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, Jaafar al-Hamdani, in a statement read by "Economy News", "The economic cooperation between the two countries is large, and we aspire to expand Chinese investment activity within the Iraqi labor market."
He stressed that "the importance of the greater flexibility of the movement of companies and businessmen between the two countries and provide the necessary facilities for this, and commensurate with the size of investment opportunities available in the country," pointing out that "the Chamber oversees the commercial sector in the country and looks forward to developing a comma permanently."
Al-Hamdani urged "the importance of the extension of cooperation to activate the joint industrialization inside Iraq and the establishment of an old market in the city of Baghdad," pointing to "the importance of cooperation in the supply of raw materials to Iraq and the role of this in the development of national production."
"Working to encourage Chinese companies to enter into investments in Iraq is continuing, and we recognize the importance of being in the Iraqi labor market," said China's deputy ambassador to Baghdad, Wayne Lee.
"The Chinese side marks the challenges facing the trade and economic process and works to address all challenges," he said.
The statement pointed out that the two sides discussed the possibility of establishing a Chinese industrial city smart joint with the Chinese government, at a time when Iraq is moving towards the activation of national industry.
The volume of Iraqi-Chinese trade exchange has reached 20 billion dollars, according to local and Chinese trade sources.

(Independent) .. The Baghdad Chamber of Commerce and the Chinese Embassy discussed ways of joint cooperation and upgrading the trade and expand its activities, especially that Iraq is an important link between the east and west of the world. 
Chairman of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce Jaafar al-Hamdani said that the economic cooperation between the two countries is great, and we aspire to expand Chinese investment activity within the Iraqi labor market. 
He stressed the importance of greater flexibility for the movement of companies and businessmen between the two countries and provide the necessary facilities for this, and commensurate with the size of investment opportunities available in the country, pointing out that the Chamber oversees the commercial sector in the country and looks forward to develop a comma permanently. 
He stressed the importance of the extension of cooperation to activate the joint industrialization inside Iraq, and the establishment of the Sunina market within the city of Baghdad, indicating the importance of cooperation in the supply of raw materials to Iraq and the role of this in the development of national production.
Deputy Chinese Ambassador to Baghdad Ine Lejun said that working to encourage Chinese companies to enter into investments inside Iraq is continuing, and we recognize the importance of presence within the Iraqi labor market. 
He stressed that the Chinese side marks the challenges facing the trade and economic process and works to address all the challenges. 
The volume of Iraqi-Chinese trade exchange has reached 20 billion dollars, according to local and Chinese trade sources. 
A joint Chinese industrial city with the Chinese government was talking at a time when Iraq is moving towards activating the national industry.
