Iraqi Minister: We seek to increase trade exchange with Egypt

Iraq is keen to increase the volume of trade exchange with Egypt because of its advanced industries and goods and food and agricultural products entered the Iraqi market. 
Al-Ani said in a statement quoted by the Iraqi News Agency "conscious" that the government's approach in Iraq stresses the need to unify the procedures at the border crossings between the center and the region to prevent the discrepancy and confusion experienced by some traders.

He pointed out that there are some obstacles in the border crossings, but will be soon, noting in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance to work to avoid duplication of fees with the region and unify.

"Iraq has entered a new phase in which it enjoys security and stability, and a new start and a clear vision in the economy through the reconstruction process."

He also pointed out that in this context, Iraq is keen to strengthen relations with the countries of the world, and the implementation of all agreements that develop the development process.

On Monday, Egyptian Oil Minister Tariq al-Mulla discussed with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Thamir al-Ghadhban ways to boost bilateral relations in various fields of the oil and gas industry and opportunities for expansion of Egyptian companies and increase their projects in Iraq.
