[rtl]The King of Jordan: Our relations with Syria will return as it was and conditions are improving in Iraq significantly and the Prime Minister will visit Baghdad before the end of the year .. The political forces in the country are advised to focus on economic growth and encourage investment and employment opportunities for young people[/rtl]

[rtl]Amman - Jordan's King Abdullah II expressed his hope for an improvement in the situation in Syria and Iraq.[/rtl]

[rtl]The King said during a meeting with a group of Jordanian journalists on Sunday, according to television news and a statement received by the German news agency, a copy of which "our relations will return with Syria as before, we wish Syria all the best, God willing, the job will return as it was before, and the situation is improving in Iraq significantly , And we are always in contact with them in order to open markets for our products, and God willing, the Prime Minister will visit Baghdad before the end of the year.[/rtl]

[rtl]Since the beginning of the Syrian crisis, Jordan has called for a political solution, and King Abdullah II called on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down from the right to the blood of his people in an interview with American media. However, the Syrian government has repeatedly accused Amman of supporting terrorists by the border.[/rtl]

[rtl]Jordan hopes that the stability of Syria and Iraq will help the country in the difficult economic conditions it faces, through reconstruction projects and opening borders to Jordanian exports.[/rtl]

[rtl]The King pointed out that "the interruption of Egyptian gas was a big problem for Jordan and now work has begun to resume supplying the Kingdom."[/rtl]

[rtl]Egypt has supplied Jordan with around 250 million cubic feet of gas a day since 2004, until it stopped in March 2012 due to bombings targeting a natural gas pipeline in Sinai in northeastern Egypt.[/rtl]

[rtl]In August, Egypt and Jordan signed amendments to the natural gas sale and purchase agreements between Egypt and Jordan to import 10 percent of Egypt's natural gas electricity generation needs in early 2019.[/rtl]

[rtl]The King of Jordan said he was excited about the future of Jordan "which has great opportunities," saying that the ball is now in the court of government and political forces and society to benefit from.[/rtl]

[rtl]"The Jordan has passed through difficult circumstances over the past years, and I am fully aware of what is happening in my country and in the region as well as what is going on in our world," the statement said. "The Gulf states stood by us, thankful and did not fall short. From Europe, Japan and America. "[/rtl]

[rtl]"My message to the prime minister, officials, MPs, dignitaries and all political forces is that the solution lies in economic growth and investment promotion," he said. "My advice to officials is not to hesitate. We have gone beyond difficult decisions. Now we must focus on economic growth, encourage investment, improve services and create jobs for young people."[/rtl]

[rtl]"Some say that the focus is on economic reform at the expense of political reform, forgetting that we have gone through a long period of deep political reform. We came out with a consensus election law in 2016 and everyone agreed that it is a modern election law. And the adoption of relative lists that were a requirement for people. "[/rtl]

[rtl]"Praise be to Allah. The last elections were transparent and open to international institutions who praised their integrity," he said, stressing that the people are ready for democracy, but political forces must organize themselves.[/rtl]

[rtl]"The country needs the people who grow up and work with courage and honesty, not those who hide behind offices," he said.[/rtl]
