Baghdad Chamber of Commerce discussed Thursday with the Ministry of Construction and Housing ways to support and stimulate the relationship between government institutions and the private sector to achieve economic activity.
The Chamber said in a statement received by "Economy News" that "a delegation of members of the Board of Directors of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce, headed by the President of the Chamber, Mr. Jaafar al-Hamdani, visited the Ministry of Housing and Construction and Municipalities and Public Works and met with its Minister HE Benjin Rikani."
The statement pointed out that during the meeting discussed "a number of economic and financial files, including the activation of the government program to support and revitalize relations between government institutions and the Iraqi private sector because of its direct impact on the market and support the Iraqi economy."
"The role of the Chamber in supporting the segment of traders whose members exceeded more than 250 thousand members by facilitating and facilitating various commercial operations in addition to providing advice and proposals that support the economy and the Iraqi market and represent the country in international forums," he said. "Strengthening the bonds between the public and private sectors of what Iraq needs in this period of all the concerted efforts to build and reconstruction."
In turn, the Minister of Construction and Housing, on the "role of the Iraqi private sector, including the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce to support and strengthen the Iraqi market and various sectors operating in Iraq."
