a Russian oil giant puts forward in Arbil Gazporm

News / Russian Consul General in the Kurdistan Region Viktor Semakov announced that the giant oil company Gazprom will open an office in Erbil, in reference to the development of relations with the Kurdistan Region. 
Simakov said in Kurdistan TV 24 that the relations between Russia and Kurdistan have a very old history dating back to the Russian Tsarist era and grew a lot in the era of Mullah Mustafa Barzani, indicating that Russia's relations with Kurdistan today are more and better. 
Simakov said that Russian companies such as Gazprom and Rosneft are working today in the Kurdistan Region, pointing out that last year a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Kurdistan Regional Government and Gazprom. 
He added that Gazprom has now begun its work and will open an office of the company in Erbil, which will improve the economy of Kurdistan. In addition to energy, Russia is ready to work with Kurdistan in other fields, especially in agriculture and other sectors.
