16/12/2018

Information / Anbar ..

Anbar Provincial Council announced on Sunday that the Korean company is ready to invest in the Akkaz gas field west of the province after an interruption of years as a result of terrorist operations amid US pressure to block the work of the company.
"The governor of Anbar met with a delegation from the Korean company investing in the project Akkaz gas field and the delegation expressed its readiness to resume work in the field, which stopped work for more than three years as a result of the control of criminal gangs on most of Western regions of the province ".
He added that "the visit of the delegation to Anbar came against the background of the stability of the security situation in all cities of the province in conjunction with dozens of investment companies ready to work in Anbar," adding that "the leadership of the operations of the island and the rest of the other security services expressed willingness to provide security protection for the field fully, .
Informed sources had earlier revealed US pressure to cancel the Korean contract and to support the investment of the Akkaz gas project to an American company. Ending 12 /
