Mubasher: Jordan and Iraq reached an agreement on the transit of trucks for commercial activities as of March 2019.

The head of the Jordanian truck owners, Mohammed Khair al-Daoud, said that it was agreed with the Iraqi side to enter Jordanian and Iraqi trucks and exit within the normal commercial activities as of early March, according to Jordan News Agency "Petra".

Da'ud made the remarks following his participation in the visit of a Jordanian delegation headed by the Minister of Transport, Walid al-Masri, the State of Iraq.

He stressed the response of the Iraqi side to the objectives of the visit and seek to develop the joint logistics aspects between the two countries, to remove the obstacles facing investment and investors.

Al-Daoud noted that the recent visit was aimed at improving the performance of the cargo transport sector in order to sustain the movement of the sector, specifically the Jordanian and Iraqi trucks, and to conclude joint agreements that will boost growth in the transport sector.
