The Commission revealed in a report, reviewed by "Economy News", that "the total cost of projects, which have not opened criminal cases so far and the number of 190 projects, reached (2,069,707,253,605) trillion dinars, including (53 billion) billion dinars for water projects, And the implementation of the water project Concrete in Umm Qasr, and the installation and processing of water complexes and units with sub-networks and the extension of conveyor lines, in addition to about (92 billion) billion dinars for the implementation of networks and stations of rainwater and heavy water in the district of the city, and the first phase of the projects of the monastery and Umm Qasr and other " .
Health and other sectors
The report added that "the cost of health projects amounted to (100 billion billion) billion dinars allocated for the establishment of two hospitals with a capacity of 100 beds in both Safwan and Haretha, a burn center in Fayhaa General Hospital, health centers and pharmacy stores complex," noting that "the cost of building buildings for a number of departments of the province (17,000,000,000) billion dinars, as well as (35,000,000,000) billion dinars for the establishment of closed gymnasiums and youth forums, and the complex of sports schools and the squares of The Sun Conscious ".
Roads and bridges
The report pointed out that "the cost of projects for the development and rehabilitation of roads and the establishment of new roads and bridges and service streets within the projects stagnant, which did not open criminal cases amounted to (150 billion billion) billion dinars, most notably the project design and implementation of the bridge step Imam Ali (p) and rehabilitation of the road - (28,000,000,000) billion dinars, most notably the establishment of scientific research centers at the University of Basra more than (8,000,000,000) billion dinars, in addition to building more Of 80 schools Dh children and dozens of classrooms, and 18 in the exams hall in the Directorate of Education to maintain. "
Criminal cases
The report referred to the dilapidated projects in the governorate where criminal cases have been opened. The number of projects reached 43, the most important of which was the participation of the Al Maqal Entertainment Complex in Al Maqal Port, a joint operational investment project at a cost of $ 850,000,000,000. Which consists of four phases of $ (554 million) million, and the project of the water carrier Shatt al-Arab, which cost (480 billion) billion dinars. "
He explained that among these projects, the establishment of a hospital with a capacity of 200 beds in the district of Abu al-Khasib and specialized heart hospital of (252 billion) billion dinars, pointing out that the cost of establishing colleges in Abi al-Khasib and Zubair transferred to one of the Spanish companies amounted to (54 billion,000) The design and implementation of a network of waterways with pipelines and tiling and covering more than (48 billion,000) billion dinars, as well as the implementation of the second phase of the Shatt al-Arab central project about (10,000,000,000) billion dinars, in addition to a number of investment projects such as the cities of modern Basra and Basra and Medina YEndodontic and residential complexes and projects of water and sewage and electric power transmission and construction of schools. "
It is noteworthy that the Integrity Commission announced the total projects lagging in the governorates of Salah al-Din, Kirkuk and Nineveh, monitored by the investigative teams composed of all the directorates and investigative offices affiliated with them, as the task of categorization of criminal cases in terms of importance, and complete investigation and investigation of reconstruction projects and services and investment lag, General in the Authority to manage the work of these teams and supervise the completion of their work, and provide summaries of the results of the investigation.

An Arab newspaper quoted the official as saying that "at least five companies fled to the country, after they failed to fulfill their contracts signed with them to complete projects related to services and infrastructure, after receiving the full financial dues," indicating that "these companies protected from some Jaha And was allowed to renounce her legal obligations and leave without completing her work. "




The official, who asked not to be named, said that "there are other companies did not complete their obligations under the contracts with them, and moved to other provinces to repeat the same act," noting that "Among the projects that stopped because of the escape of companies is the establishment of a channel Irrigation of the Shatt al-Arab, a residential city under construction, and the construction of a network of sewage and sewage in the district of the city in Basra. "
