The Office of Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi on Wednesday issued a clarification on the confusion raised over the cancellation of the previous government's decisions, pointing out that there are two reasons behind the move.

"We deny these inaccuracies, which claim that the review will stop the fundamental decisions to grant allocations to all provinces or the province of Basra petrodollars or border crossings, or emergency payments to families or the establishment of desalination plants, water desalination, and so on.

The office stressed that "the real purpose of the decisions of the House of Representatives and the ministers is first: to confirm and confirm the fundamentalist decisions, and to achieve the interest of citizens and the public interest, and confirms the continuity of the work of successive governments and secondly: to stop the decisions of non-fundamentalism and illegal, all after review and scrutiny."

The Cabinet issued a decision on Tuesday to suspend the decisions and directives of the Council of Ministers and the former Prime Minister for the period from July 1 to October 24, Within seven days to the Committee formed and the Committee to decide the decisions within a short period specified.
