The victory coalition, led by Haider Abadi, on Wednesday, refused to give Nuri al-Maliki the post of Vice President of the Republic of Iraq, who saw the lack of consensus in this regard.

On Monday, al-Maliki announced an agreement to take over as Iraqi vice president.

The Iraqi constitution stipulated that the president should have at least one deputy, while the political process in the country, during the last parliamentary session, three Vice-President of Iraq, they are: the leader of a coalition of law Nuri al-Maliki, and the leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi, "Iraqi Osama Najafi.

The leader of the coalition Ali al-Sunaid, told Ashqaf News, "The issue of the selection of Vice President of the Republic, be a political agreement, and Maliki hastened to declare a semi-resolution of the post, and the purpose of the statement pressure on the political blocs."

He also stressed that "there is no political agreement on Maliki's access to this position, as there is no insistence by President Barham Saleh to be al-Maliki as his deputy."

"The majority of forces refuse to give Maliki the post, and it is very difficult to be able to pass Maliki by a majority under the dome of Parliament."
