A member of the parliamentary finance committee Muthanna Abdul Samad Samarrai on Tuesday called on friendly countries to increase the seriousness of the reconstruction of the liberated provinces and to prevent a re-organization.

"The need to give the private sector the real opportunity to support the reconstruction of the country and revitalize the Iraqi economy, reducing the burden on the state and making the private sector a true partner in economic prosperity," Samarrai said during a seminar at the Chamber of Commerce in Baghdad.

Al-Samarrai pointed to the need to attract international investments to contribute to the reconstruction efforts of Iraq and provide a good investment environment and overcome the obstacles that impede the movement of investment, and rely on the Iraqi banks in dealing with serious international banks to build confidence in the Iraqi market as that is what will encourage international companies to Enter the Iraqi market '.

Al-Samarrai called on the friendly countries to be "serious in supporting reconstruction and normalizing the situation in the liberated areas," saying that this would "prevent the seeds of terrorism from finding the right ground for growth at the expense of society."
