[rtl]Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Abdul Latif al-Zayani on Friday expressed his opinion on the tour carried out by President Barham Saleh to the Gulf States, as well as his position on Iran and the sanctions imposed on it.[/rtl]
[rtl] Al-Zayani said in remarks quoted by Asharq Al-Awsat that "the Iranian regime now has no choice but to reconsider its political orientations and to abide by the basic principles and principles governing relations between states based on the Charter of the United Nations and the Charters of Law International '.[/rtl]
[rtl]He added that 'the Iranian file will be one of the issues to be discussed by Gulf leaders during the summit held on Sunday, in Riyadh'.[/rtl]
[rtl]"The visit of the President of the Republic of Iraq Barham Saleh in a number of GCC countries, was an important step and a good gesture reflected the keenness of the brothers in Iraq to strengthen relations with their brothers in the GCC states.[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "the meeting with Saleh during his visit to Saudi Arabia was friendly and fruitful, which included extensive discussions on the Gulf-Iraqi relations and ways to strengthen and deepen in various fields, in addition to developments in the situation in the region and ways to enhance security and stability. And the Secretariat is currently working in coordination with the brothers in the Iraqi Foreign Ministry to develop relations of cooperation between the two sides'.[/rtl]
