US-Iraqi relations ... friendship or domination? 1014063810

Iraqi Foreign Minister Mohammad Ali al-Hakim called on Washington to cooperate in activating the terms of the strategic framework agreement between Iraq and the United States.

"Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali al-Hakim met with US Ambassador to Baghdad Douglas Silliman and discussed means of enhancing strategic relations between the two countries and stressing the importance of achieving common interests in various fields of the two friendly peoples," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
What gains will Iraq gain from this Convention? Will the United States abide by them?
Guest of the program "truth" on the impact of Radio " Sputnik " Dr. Aziz Jabr Shayal, director of the political and strategic research unit at the Faculty of Political Science:
The Iraqis were waiting for the United States to correct its historic mistake of occupying Iraq and to assist in its reconstruction in light of the escalating demands for the restoration of Iraq. This is a difficult subject under the current US administration, with Iraqi forces bearing arms and seeking American assistance. The list of terrorist organizations, which leads to a problem of Iraqi politicians, lies in the process of balancing these forces as practicing political action on the one hand and as terrorist organizations according to the vision of the United States on the other hand. Hence the agreement between the two countries must be activated to cover this.Subject."
While preparing that call as a signal from the Iraqi Foreign Ministry stating that Iraq stands with the United States in its escalating crisis with Iran,
"I do not think that Iraqi politicians stand in such a position. The Iraqi-Iranian relations are complex. The United States has not expressed its friendship with Iraq for the past 15 years. The loss of confidence between Baghdad and Washington must be restored. Clear and direct, a position that is unable to the Iraqi government, which wants to be a friend of Iran and the United States at the same time So can be considered the invitation of the Iraqi Foreign Minister as a flirtation of the Americans "
And if the Americans understand the position of Iraq from Iran and the strong relationship between them, says Shial:
"The Americans are pragmatists and may reassure Iraq of the future. It needs a long time if it wants to do away with economic dealings with Iran, in the absence of national interest among Iraqi politicians, so the issue will not pass easily. . "
