Souroun: Citizens own 35% of Iraq's money in their homes

10:55 - 30/11/20180

Post it on Facebook and tweet on Twitter

Information / Baghdad ..

The MP of the Alliance of Riyadh Riyad Mohammed, Friday, that citizens have in their homes 35% of Iraq's money, noting that 312 billion dollars went outside the country could be used to build 12 thousand schools and hospitals, airports and railways.

"Iraq has more than 2 million displaced people, while it has sold oil at 754 billion dollars and has gone out of the country 312 billion dollars. This last amount could have built more than 12,000 schools," he said in a statement. Hospital, railways, five airports and infrastructure for roads and bridges. "

"If Iraq had spent on each project billion dollars would have completed 312 strategic project returns to Iraq Petrionat dinars, but the behavior of the Central Bank and banks gave a negative image for all."

He pointed out that "the Iraqi citizen owns within his house 40 trillion dinars, even if we have mature banks to turn these amounts to investment and revive the economy, and thus is a weakness registered for banking institutions, that more than 35% of the mass frozen in homes, can not be invested economically. End 25 n

I believe this brings up the most salient question of this investment currently. How are they bringing in this “mass” of cash?

We already have a million bright red, flashing fire trucks with signs pointing to a switchover to internationally recognized currency. That’s not a question, at all, anymore.

So, what I suspect in the “2nd article” information coming to the Iraqi citizens is: The citizens will be ordered to bring in their 000 bills. They will have no value ‘on the street,’ so to speak. They will be traded in at banks/exchange centers for 1190 or whatever they place it at that time.

At this point, the citizens will receive the “small notes” in which they can exchange those “on the street” for a 1-1 value either immediately, or in the very proximal future.

The banks need to be prepared for this liquidity transfer. This allows for commingling of all currencies as this process matriculates all other currencies, except the SN’s, back in the vaults over time. It would become more of the RD that leads into an RI. Does this sound right? Anything out of kilter? Or, can this be discussed in detail yet?

Treasury Secretary Mnuchin Statement on the Signing of the USMCA

November 30, 2018

Buenos Aires – U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven T. Mnuchin today issued the following statement on the signing of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) on the periphery of the G20 Leaders’ Conference in Argentina:

“Today’s signing marks a critical step in modernizing and rebalancing North American trade. The new agreement secures strong outcomes for farmers, ranchers, businesses, and workers across North America, including in areas such as auto manufacturing and intellectual property.

“Working with my Ministry of Finance counterparts, Canadian Finance Minister Morneau and Mexican Finance Secretary Gonzalez Anaya, the agreement includes commitments to revolutionize and further streamline financial services markets, including a first-ever prohibition on data localization.

“Additionally, the USMCA includes language on Macroeconomic Policies and Exchange Rate Matters, with new policy and transparency commitments on currency issues.

This will address unfair currency practices by requiring high-standard commitments to refrain from competitive devaluations and targeting exchange rates, while significantly increasing transparency and providing mechanisms for accountability.

This approach is unprecedented in the context of a trade agreement, and will help reinforce macroeconomic and exchange rate stability.”
