The Iranian chamber of commerce and former Iranian trade adviser Ibrahim Mohammad Reza said 21 percent of Iran's exports are destined for Iraq, while Iranian imports from the country are only 1 percent.

Rezazadeh said during a seminar of economic and commercial activists of the province of Al-Barz and Iraq on the sidelines of the exhibition capabilities of Al-Barz province that the share of Iran in the market in Iraq is increasing, stressing the need to address two main issues are entering the Iraqi market and stay in this market.

He stressed that staying in the Iraqi market requires that the registration of production units on the ground in this market, because those looking to provide services in Iraq can not manage projects remotely.

"Iraq is now an opportunity for us, and if we do not arrange to put our situation there, we will lose this market in favor of other countries," he said, stressing that Iran has important advantages including the appropriate price, quality and specifications and geographical proximity of Iraq.
