[ltr]WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US banks are preparing themselves for Iranian cyber attacks in retaliation for the sanctions imposed by the Bush administration, according to international sources. 

The sources quoted managers at US banks as saying Iranian pirates may disrupt financial services.[/ltr]

[ltr]It also quoted security officials as saying the Department of Defense's piracy division was working with other government efforts to combat any malicious electronic activity.[/ltr]
