(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi announced Iraq's readiness to provide necessary support to Kuwait and Jordan by the devastating floods that hit the two sister nations.

A statement issued by his office, received by the agency {Euphrates News} copy today, that "Abdul Mahdi is following with concern and regret the development of devastating floods that hit the two countries of Kuwait and Jordan sisters caused by heavy rain, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries and destruction of property.

"The Iraqi government and people express their solidarity with the families of the victims and the Jordanian and Kuwaiti brotherly peoples and their condolences and condolences to them and wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded," Abdul Mahdi said.

He pointed out that "the Iraqi government is ready to send logistical assistance and medical teams, engineering and civil defense and provide the necessary support in an effort to alleviate the suffering of brothers and save lives and reduce the damage resulting," pointing to "the move of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and the province of Basra in this direction."
