The Minister of Electricity, Luay Khatib, on Tuesday, to work from now in preparation for the summer of 2019, in order to provide better service in the field of power supply.

Minister Al-Khatib stressed the importance of coordination with the Ministry of Oil to meet the needs of all types of fuel stations, as well as meeting all the needs related to increasing the absorption of power transmission networks and decomposition. Bottlenecks in order to absorb new generation capacities, in addition to working continuously to rehabilitate electricity distribution networks.

He added that emphasis has been placed on increasing coordination with the security authorities to reduce the terrorist and sabotage operations that affect the transmission lines of electric power.
