[ltr]A senior official source for the 'Tigris' Washington is seeking to provide Britmaghork new ambassador to Iraq in succession to Douglas Seelman the beginning of the new year.[/ltr]
[ltr]The sources said McGuck was one of the most prominent candidates for the post, but the White House was waiting for his nomination formally after being approved by the US Senate.[/ltr]
[ltr]McGowork, who is described by everyone as 'the most dangerous man in the region', was born April 20, 1973, as a US lawyer and diplomat appointed by President Barack Obama on November 23, 2015 to be the special presidential envoy of the International Coalition Against Fighting, replacing General John Allen after he was his deputy since 16 He served as assistant secretary of state for Iraq and Iran and led secret negotiations with Iran between October 2014 and January 2016 that led to the release of four American prisoners from Evin prison in Tehran. They were released by the Washington Post reporter T., Jason Arzaiیan, and according to the New York Times, that task , which lasted for 14 months , in addition to many other tasks led by Macgork reinforced his reputation as a person capable of performing difficult tasks.[/ltr]
McGuck was a special aide to former President George W. Bush and director of Iraq and Afghanistan. During Obama's tenure, MacGorek served as a special adviser to the US National Security Council and senior adviser to the US ambassador to Iraq. In the field of law, Mr. McGork served as Assistant Chief Justice of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge William Rinkweest in 2001.[/ltr]
[ltr]In January 2016, the diplomat visited McGork in northern Syria as part of a counter-offensive mission and met with officials from the Democratic Unionist Party (PYD) and People's Protection Units (YPG). Between November 2014 and January 2016, Mr. McGowork was the main negotiator in secret and intensive negotiations with Iran to release four US prisoners and return them to the United States, including Jason Rezaian, Amir Hakmati and Said Abidini 
On June 9, 2014, Mr. McGowork was in Erbil when she invaded Mosul and approached Baghdad. 
He then left for Baghdad and helped supervise the evacuation of 1,500 US employees from the US Embassy while working with President Barack Obama and the National Security Council to formulate a US diplomatic and military response to a threatening threat.[/ltr]
[ltr]After that, McGovern had a leading role in facilitating the formation of a new government in Iraq led by Prime Minister Haider Abadi after Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, who had served as prime minister for the past eight years,[/ltr]
[ltr]On September 13, 2014, US Secretary of State John Kerry announced the appointment of Mr. McGowork as ambassador and deputy to the Special Presidential Envoy of the International Coalition against Da'ash. Three days later, Ambassador McGorek met at the White House Oval Office with President Barack Obama and retired Marine Gen. John Allen to discuss the strategy of building an international alliance to fight the staunch. On December 3, 2014, a meeting was held in the Belgian capital of Brussels. An official coalition of 62 countries was formed to support Iraq and help the new government headed by Prime Minister Haider Abadi in the fight against Dahesh as well as five military and diplomatic frameworks to support this effort. [/ltr]
