MP Mohammad Rida al-Haider said on Saturday that they can not pass the 2019 budget unless the parliamentarians are briefed on the final accounts of 2018 to find out how much they spent.

Al-Haider said in a statement that "the 2019 budget can not be passed by the House of Representatives unless the final accounts to see where the funds spent 2018 and the amount of money returned to the treasury of the state."

He added that "the alliance of the Suron hopes of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to begin his initial reforms by sending the final accounts to the House of Representatives."
