Samson: Deputy calls on Abdul-Mahdi to do the “first step” in the process of political and government reform

The deputy of the Alliance of Samer Mohammed Reza Al-Haidar, Saturday, Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to send the final accounts for the current year and previous years, returned to send the final accounts a first step in the process of political and government reform.

Samson:  Planning: The value of GDP for the first half of 2018 amounted to 125 billion dinars

Announced that the Central Bureau of Statistics of the Ministry of Planning, Saturday, that the GDP value of the first half of 2018 amounted to 125 trillion dinars. 

“The preliminary estimates of the value of gross domestic product for the first half of 2018 amounted to 125 trillion and 89 billion,” the agency said in a report, which was seen by Alsumaria News, indicating that “the gross domestic product at constant prices for 2017 amounted to 100 trillion and 735 billion dinars.”

“The rate of change in GDP at current prices for the second quarter of 2018 for the first quarter amounted to 13.5%,” the agency said, adding that “the rate of change in GDP at current prices for the second quarter 2017 for the second quarter amounted to 25.1%.”

“These indicators, along with other indicators, reflect the size of economic activity. It is possible to monitor all the movements of major economic flows such as production and consumption, and these indicators are important economic indicators that planners and economic decision makers need to formulate policies to promote the national economy.”

The World Bank forecast in a report that the total output of Iraq in 2018 will amount to 197.7 billion dollars and improve the prospects for growth in Iraq Thanks to a favorable security environment and gradual recovery of investment for reconstruction amid forecasts of GDP growth despite an OPEC cut-off agreement that obliges Iraq to commit.   LINK


Samson:  Deputy reveals the details of the budget of 2019 and the size of the deficit

The deputy of the Kurdistan Islamic Group, Ahmad Hama Rashid, on Saturday, the volume of funds allocated in the budget of 2019, pointing out that the current government will reconsider some details of the budget before sending them to the House of Representatives.

“The previous government completed draft budget law and estimated at 128 trillion dinars, a significant increase from this year,” he said, noting that “the government assessed the price of oil at $ 56, while estimated revenues 105 trillion dinars, a deficit of up to 22 Trillion. ”

Rashid added that the legal period for receipt of the draft budget is the tenth of October, but concern about the formation of the government deadline.

He pointed out that “the draft budget is complete but the current government will consider and allocate some projects within the new government program,” likely to “be sent to the budget in mid-November.”    LINK


Samson:  Seven files await Abdul Mahdi in the first month of his reign

Samson:  Abdul Mahdi, costing Abadi and Araji headed by the National Security and Lobbying Agency

Informed sources revealed that the Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, commissioned a number of former officials of the management of security institutions agency, after delaying the vote on the candidates chosen by the Ministries of Defense and Interior.

Samson:  UNHCR sues former deputy and 2018 candidate for “vote buying”

The Electoral Commission announced on Saturday that it filed a lawsuit against former MP Shatha al-Abusi and a candidate for the 2018 Wadah al-Sadir elections on charges of “buying votes.”

The media director of the Electoral Commission for Elections Aziz al-Kikhani said in a statement received by “Al-Ghad Press” , That “a lawsuit has been filed against former MP Shatha Abusi and candidate for the House of Representatives elections for 2018 and Waddah Sadiq.”

He added that “the Commission commissioned the legal department to bring the lawsuit to the judiciary after the leaks of audio recording, which appeared in the media fraud and fraud and attempts to manipulate and buy votes, which failed, indicating the integrity of the procedures of the Commission,” calling on the Iraqi judiciary to “expedite the adoption of all legal procedures And to make sure the evidence for the purpose of taking measures to ensure the right of the defaulters and those who try to abuse this institution and the electoral process that produced the parliament and the executive power”.
