The Iraqi Islamic Party (IFP) on Friday dissolved former parliament speaker Shatha al-Abusi, former parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri.

In a statement received by Al-Akhbar, the party's media office said it was commenting on the publication in the media. "Abusi is not a member of the party, and there is no organizational relationship with it, regardless of the validity of its talk and dialogue."

Local media were quoted by a telephone call between Aboussi and the head of the coalition 'solidarity' Waddah al-Sadid candidate in the legislative elections in May, where they spoke of the rigging and manipulation of the votes were marred by those elections.

In a detailed statement, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) denied the charges, announcing a legal action against Aboussi and al-Sadid.
