October 24, 2018 Mnt Goat News Brief

Hi Everyone,

I bring you much news today.

So this week started off with yet another bang from the TNT crew of idiots.

I need to clarify this garbage intel once again since many are sucking it up as factual data.

I don’t want to blow anyone’s RV bubble, but all this recent hype about this photo is the same old same old stale intel from TNT site. Once again, they are making way too much about nothing at all worthy of hype. They did not take the time to research or verify what the hell they are talking about. Go figure. The fat man strikes again with yet more flip-flop nonsense.

What do I mean?

So, this photo talked about around these gurus sites (especially the TNT jerk) is nothing more than the Iraq Central Bank presenting the Arab embassy in Baghdad with a plaque to commemorate the official opening of the new embassy. It includes the Swiss dinars of the past not of the present or of the future. If you take the time to blow the picture up you will see that these coins and bills are from 1930’s- 1940’s. Really? Yes, really!

So why did the CBI present old currency to the Arab embassy under the AMF presentation?

The message is not new from the CBI. What they are telling the AMF is they fully intend to move towards this financial era in Iraqi history of 1930-1940’s. These were the “golden years” for Iraqi economy and country as a whole. This is the significance of this presentation. Get it?

Oh some gurus will try to convince you this is not the case and argue with me over this. But blow up or expand the damned dinars and coins on the plaque and you will see for yourself. These are the old $1 and $5 dinar notes. The metal coins are from the same era.

So why does anyone tell you these are of the new futuristic smaller category notes of Iraq waiting to be launched?

They are telling you this mainly to create more hype for their listeners and to get everyone charged up to try to prove that an RV is imminent in October. Instead, if they really were concerned about bringing ACCURATE and FACTUAL news to you they would have taken the time and effort to verify the photo and learned what the CBI was really presenting. But his is not how TNT Tony works or thinks. This is so typical of his news. So how can anyone believe anything he says anymore? Again, it goes back to someone who keeps crying every day the sky is falling, the sky is falling. How can you believe them anymore? This liar has lost all credibility. Let’s move on to someone else who has credibility and uses actual journalistic practices instead of their own self-serving crystal ball.

LESSON LEARNED - Please, please, please stop all the knee jerk reactions to something you see off the internet. Do some research before you open your big mouth and start spreading these rumors. If you can’t verify it then keep it to yourself.

Note: Just so I am very clear. These are NOT the newer smaller category notes or fils (coins) we are looking for as part of the project to delete the zeros, on this photo.

UPDATE ON THE ONGOING ELECTION SAGA

So we know that there is a constitutional deadline of Weds Oct 24th to announce the cabinet to parliament. Will this occur on time?

Of course it will. Let me explain.

In today’s news I have multiple articles on this topic. One says that they must tell parliament 48 hours prior that they will need to attend to vote on this matter. Then another article telling us that they decided to hold off this vote until next week, however on Thursday they still plan to hold a regular session of parliament. This is due to the disputes still with the Security minister selection.

Then the news media comes out with another article stating the constitutional deadline is mandatory and a no confidence can be applied if this is not met. So, we know IT WILL BE MET and at least the cabinet Mahdi has will be presented tomorrow and it will be voted on. Some ministers will be rejected and then Mahdi will have 30 days to replace them and go before parliament again for a re-vote. So much for your RV in October….lol..lol…

On Monday," According to the provisions of the Constitution and the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives, and to ensure transparency and integrity in obtaining the confidence of the House of Representatives for ministers in the next government, and NOT TO PASS ANY CANDIDATE CAME TO DEAL CORRUPTION OF ANY BLOC, or interested in corruption files. "

"We are the undersigned, the number of which is more than 120 deputies, we CALL FOR A SECRET VOTE ON THE MINISTERS INDIVIDUALLY in accordance with the current procedures in the election of the President of the Republic and the Speaker of the Parliament and his deputies."

So what pops out late Tuesday in Iraqi news?

Baghdad today - Baghdad The Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Halboussi, on Tuesday, during a meeting with the envoy of US President Brett McCork, in the presence of US Ambassador Douglas Silliaman, that the PARLIAMENT IS COMMITTED TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL DATES TO FORM A GOVERNMENT.

So this process happens this way in every election so far and I do not see it changing. I told you the US is watching this election process VERY carefully.

Why is everyone so worried?

Is it because you have been told by these intel gurus that the RV will happen literally right after or very soon after the new prime minister is voted in? Really? Who the hell told you this? Is this the same idiot who told you that it had to happen in May, then June and then even in July when there was no solid evidence of this from the CBI.

Could this be the anticipation? I will tell you this is wrong thinking and if this is what you expect – good luck with that!

We are getting so close to the end of October and it is getting doubtful that the reinstatement may happen in this month, as planned. I do not care to listen to these stupid bank stories especially this last one from the TNT gang this week. This guy comes on the call and talks about his near exchange with the bank. Of course, he did not have his dinar with him. Of course, even when he went back to the bank the following day he could not exchange. Oh they just happened to have computer problems….go figure…

Did he finally exchange the morning of the TNT call? Of course, he didn’t. Go figure.

It is all a bunch of lies. Get it? I also find it funny how this guy goes to the same bank to cash his payroll check week after week without even having a bank account to deposit it into. What does he do pay cash for everything?

How was he going to exchange his dinar then? Did he actually plan to walk out of the bank with over $300,000 cash or did he plan to deposit it into an account? Oh- but what account?

So, this story was just so ridiculous and riddled with fake news that my stomach turned knowing that some idiots would actually believe it. The flip-flopper strikes again…

More news….

A political source revealed on Sunday an agreement between the political blocs and Prime Minister-designate Adil Abdul Mahdi to renew the selection of Nouri al-Maliki as vice president of Iraq and the selection of four ministers for the interior, defense, foreign affairs and higher education ministries.

The source said that "the leaders of Sairoun and Fatah authorized before the other political blocs to negotiate with Abdul Mahdi, having agreed with the latter on the nomination of the leader of a State of Law Coalition [Nouri al-Maliki] for the post of Vice President of the Republic."

(Mnt Goat – now we know what was holding up the minister selection – Maliki. Earlier we reported that he was getting immunity after stalling the formations of the government for months. This was ultimately part of the deal to allow the government to be formed. Now he was the VP position to legally ensure his immunity for yet another 4 years. If this is all true news, this is a sad, sad day.)

"The agreement also included Qusay al-Suhail for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the nomination of Laith Kubba to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Kamel al-Dulaimi for the Ministry of Defense."

He pointed out that "outgoing Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, the leader of the National Coalition Iyad Allawi, and former Defense Minister Khalid Obeidi have not been nominated so far to occupy any position in the new government."

2. how to immediate report any counterfeit currency and the provision of information they have while ensuring the confidentiality of the person's identity," Abadi said.

MUST INFORM THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE DATE OF THE MEETING TO VOTE NOT LESS THAN 48 HOURS IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND

Baghdad:

A parliamentary source confirmed on Monday that the Presidency of the Parliament should INFORM THE MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE DATE OF THE MEETING NOT LESS THAN 48 HOURS IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

The source said in an interview for "Watan News" that "THE NEXT HOURS WILL REVEAL WHETHER THE VOTING SESSION ON THE CABINET CABIN WILL BE DURING THE CURRENT WEEK and notify the members of the House of Representatives of its date before 48 hours so that members in remote provinces to come to the seat of parliament or delay to another date in the coming days. "

"As for the ministerial cab, the Shiite blocs left the option of Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi to choose who he sees fit," pointing out that "the Sunni and Kurdish blocs want to get their shares of Abdul Mahdi."

Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi announced earlier this week that the Cabinet Cab will be presented to the House of Representatives for a vote.

(Mnt Goat – so they made good on their promise and told the parliament within the next 48 hours. See article below that tells us that the voting on the new cabinet and PM will be NEXT week NOT this week.)

NEXT WEEK PARLIAMENT TO VOTE TO RATIFY THE NEW PRIME MINISTER AND HIS CABINET

(Mnt Goat – really?)

Special – Mawazin News

October 22, 2018

Revealed a parliamentary source, Tuesday, that the House of Representatives will hold a regular session on Thursday, pointing out that next week will introduce Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi ministerial form to vote before Parliament.

The source said, for / Mawazin News /, “The parliament WILL NOT HOLD ON WEDNESDAY, A SESSION TO VOTE ON THE CABINET as the most said in the news media.”

He added that “the House of Representatives will hold a regular session on Thursday,” pointing out that “next week, Prime Minister-designate Adel Abdul-Mahdi, his cabinet to vote before Parliament.”

The source attributed the REASON WHY ABDUL-MAHDI DID NOT PUT HIS MINISTERIAL CABINET THIS WEEK, to “CONTINUING DISPUTES OVER THE SECURITY MINISTRIES.”

The prime minister-designate is seeking to announce a government lineup of independents, and HAS REFUSED TO GRANT MINISTERIAL PORTFOLIOS TO CANDIDATES OF THE POLITICAL BLOCS WHO HAVE TRIED AND HELD POSITIONS IN PREVIOUS GOVERNMENTS.

(Mnt Goat – No vote tomorrow Wednesday. Did I not tell you that the disputes were still ongoing with the selection of key positions of defense, security and interior ministers? These are the key positions in the cabinet. So we wait until next week to see what happens.  )

(Mnt Goat – just meet the deadline incomplete or not !)

BLOOMBERG: IRAQ’S TOP CLERIC IS BECOMING ITS POLITICAL SAVIOR

(10/22/18)

It took five months since Iraq’s national elections, but the country finally has a new prime minister, Adel Abdul Mahdi. In truth, however, neither he nor new President Barham Salih nor the firebrand cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, whose alliance won the most parliamentary seats in May, will likely have the greatest influence over whether Iraq can MAKE THE REFORMS NECESSARY TO BECOME A STABLE AND PROSPEROUS COUNTRY.

Rather, THE KEY FIGURE IS GRAND AYATOLLAH ALI AL-SISTANI, THE 88-YEAR-OLD SENIOR CLERIC IN IRAQ’S SHIITE RELIGIOUS HIERARCHY.

While Sistani has followed the Shiite tradition of generally staying away from a direct role in politics, HE ENGAGED IN BACKROOM NEGOTIATIONS FOR MONTHS TO BRING TOGETHER THE CONTENTIOUS FACTIONS THAT EVENTUALLY REACHED A COMPROMISE ON ABDUL MAHDI, an economist and former vice president.

Sistani’s position at the pinnacle of the political pyramid IS UNPRECEDENTED FOR AN IRAQI CLERIC. Throughout the history of Shiism — until the 1979 revolution that led to the creation of an Islamic theocracy in Iran — religious leaders refused to assert themselves directly into affairs of the state.

It was Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, leader of the Iranian revolt, who radicalized the role of senior clerics with his concept of velayat e-faqih, literally “guardian of the Islamic jurist.” Khomeini’s rationalization for entering politics was based upon the idea that as representatives on earth of the Hidden Imam— also known as the Mahdi — clerics, namely himself, were to take absolute political power over all believers.

Sistani, an Iranian citizen, opposes this idea because he believes it leads to dictatorship, Iran being the perfect example. BUT HE HAS DEPARTED FROM HIS TRADITIONAL NONPOLITICAL POSITION BECAUSE HE UNDERSTANDS THE IRAQI STATE IS CURRENTLY WEAK, CAUGHT IN PARTISAN STRUGGLE AND VULNERABLE TO IRAN’S STRATEGIC AMBITIONS.

He is said to be very concerned that Iran has played an increasingly greater role in Iraq since the U.S. withdrew most of its forces in 2011. This is not to say that Iraq’s most powerful cleric is always allied with, or subservient to, American interests. He is, first and foremost, a nationalist.

Clerical sources in the Shiite holy city of Najaf tell me it is only out of “necessity” — what is known as maslahat in Islam — THAT SISTANI IS NOW PLAYING THIS PROMINENT ROLE IN GOVERNMENT. Khomeini used the same concept when he declared himself the ultimate leader of Iran, less than a year after he re-entered Iran from exile to lead the revolution.

But there is an important distinction between the ways the two men have interpreted maslahat. Sistani sees it as a social and moral imperative to uphold the general welfare, what in Arabic is called al-hisbah, and requires one in a position of authority to intervene to “enjoin good and forbid wrongdoing.” Khomeini, on the other hand, did not distinguish between the public’s welfare and that of the state.

Sistani derives his influence not by appointment — like Iran’s supreme leader, Ali Khamenei — but by being a model whom Shiite Muslims can emulate. This gives him sway over his followers’ daily lives not only in Iraq but across the region. While this is the first time he has used this influence directly in partisan politics, he has previously asserted his authority to help the nation. He was outspoken in urging Iraqis to fight against the Islamic State, and he has on occasion served as a neutralizer between Iran and the U.S. As a result, he has been at odds with Sadr, who in the past had his followers fight U.S. troops and believed the U.S. should depart from the country.

By expanding his role beyond the realm of religion to include issues such as maintaining public order, Sistani could be charting a new and lasting course for the Iraqi clerical establishment, known as the marjiyya. The big questions are whether he can continue to fulfill this broader role, and whether after his death more clerics will emerge who will be able to exercise similar influence.

In either case, Iraqis should wish for Sistani’s interventions to continue, because above all he is a compromiser. Not only did his strong hand help break the stalemate in forming the new government, but also resulted in Salih becoming president. The Kurdish leader has a reputation as a peacemaker and is a darling of Washington. (Abdul Mahdi, a technocrat a heart, is thought to be more neutral in the competition between the U.S. and Iran.)

Sistani’s role in all this showed political acumen. Initially, he issued a directive saying that no politician who had served in office in the past should be allowed to take the prime ministership. But, according to Sistani’s son Mohammad Reza, Abdul Mahdi was exempted from this restriction because he had resigned from his most recent position as Iraq’s oil minister before he completed his term.

In promoting Abdul Mahdi, Sistani was able to remove from contention two other candidates who are heavily under Iranian influence: Nouri al-Maliki, who held the premiership from 2006 to 2014, and Hadi Ameri, a militia leader whose coalition grabbed the second-most parliamentary seats in May. Sistani even used one of his Friday prayer sermons to indirectly criticize Maliki, telling Iraqis to “avoid falling into the trap of those … who are corrupt and those who have failed.”

Sistani and other top clerics believe Iran wields far too much influence in Iraq, and have worked for years to limit Tehran’s sway. “There is a desire among the marjiyya and the public to have a new government of true national unity,” Jawad al-Khoie, a religious scholar and professor in Najaf, told me. But like many in Iraq, the Shiite religious establishment fears outside interference. “The interventions and pressures may not allow this to happen,” al-Khoie said.

Sistani’s role as power broker is a good thing for Iraqis as they try to move away from their sectarian identities and toward a more nationalistic identity. Yes, the government still suffers from corruption, economic mismanagement and political polarization, and it will take strong secular leadership to create the stability Sistani is seeking. The question is whether such progress will be made during the ayatollah’s lifetime.

In ending I want everyone to know your constant prayers in the fight against evil (ISIS) in Iraq have worked. God has guided these young men and women on the battle field. Let us all now know that there is a new battle now to fight. A battle to save our homelands from the corrupt politicians who are bent on taking what they want from our current wealth and from future generations without our permission. We must keep praying for the end to the rapid corruption in Iraq and in the United States. We must pray for our leaders when they are being guided by the Holy Spirit. We must stand by them and let them know we are still there to support them, even after the election is over. I have composed a prayer maybe we can all pray today in our own way and until the revaluation of the Iraq dinar occurs.

PRAYER

“For the Iraqi Prime Minister and the President of the United States, that all their cabinet members, and deputies may be anointed by the Holy Spirit to do God’s will and bring the free democracies of the Republic of Iraq and the United States of America to the much-deserved prosperity and abundance thru justice and freedom from oppression and corruption. That they may be a shining example for the rest of the middle east and to rest of the world to follow.

In the name of Jesus Christ our King and Savior, Amen”

Auf Wiedersehen
