The deputy chairman of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan, Nechirvan Barzani, on Sunday evening, with the delegation of the coalition of reform and reconstruction headed by Ammar al-Hakim political process in Iraq and the participation of the Democratic Party in it.

A statement by Barzani's office said that the latter, the head of the provincial government, had met with a senior delegation from the Reform and Reconstruction Coalition headed by Ammar al-Hakim and included representatives of the Liberal-Sadrists - the national, decision, Arab, victory, wisdom and the dialogue front.

He added that the two parties talked about the strong participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the political process in Baghdad, "and what it is in the interest of Iraq and the region."

The meeting also agreed that "the political process on the basis of partnership and equality and consensus and resolve outstanding problems between Erbil and Baghdad on the basis of the Constitution."

In this regard, Barzani said that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party wishes to participate actively and strongly in the Iraqi political process on these three foundations and provide the constitutional rights of the people of Kurdistan to be in the interest of all components of Iraq."
