Had been completely destroyed during the liberation process

The director of the municipalities of Nineveh province Engineer Abdul Qadir Dakhil, on Tuesday, the opening of the Rafidain government building one of the most prominent buildings in the Rafidi Center in Mosul after being completely destroyed during the liberation of the city.

"The cadres of the municipal and municipal administrations of Nineveh completed the construction and construction of the Rafidain Bank building with its three floors in order to restore the work in the building and leave the alternative premises for the employees of the bank," Dakhil told Basnews correspondent.

Dakhil added that "the work is resumed at the bank after the opening of the Mosul branch and will begin reconstruction of the building of the Rasheed Bank in the next few days."

The bulk of the city of Mosul was destroyed by the military operation launched by Iraqi forces to expel gunmen urged by the city last year. Although more than a year has passed since the liberation of the city, the multi-million dollar reconstruction has yet to begin.
