The Science Council of the promising Scientific Research Foundation approved the design of the first quantum computer in Russia.

The first prototype of a quantum computer may appear in Russia in the fall of 2021.

Garbuck pointed out that the center of the National Technology Initiative in Quantitative Technology, which was founded in the Physical College At the University of Moscow, is the one who took the realization of this project in cooperation with the company 'Digital Economy' and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.

A quantum computer is a computer that uses mechanical quantum phenomena. This type of computer has more specifications than classical computer systems in terms of calculating complex systems and solving codes, no matter how complicated they are.

The agreement to realize the multi-unit quantum computer design project was signed last February on the sidelines of the investment forum in the Russian city of Sochi between Russia's Vip Bank and Vib Innovations, the promising scientific research institution, Moscow University, '.
