Bolton: Soleimani is a "murderer" and "gang leader of militias" .. We will hold him accountable

We will not allow him and Khamenei to destroy the Middle East

Senior Iranian officials said the Iranian regime was using false, unrealistic slogans such as support for Palestinians, while injecting billions of dollars into funding for armed militias in the region.

At an international meeting on Iran on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that "Iran has not paid more than $ 20,000 to Palestinian refugees," while hundreds of millions have been paid to armed groups.

He added that the United States and its allies "did everything to cut funding for the Iranian Revolutionary Guards."

US national security adviser John Bolton said the Iranian regime had pumped $ 20 billion into agents at a time when young Iranians were not finding jobs.

He said that Tehran "poured billions of dollars in support of terrorism and has been sending weapons to the militias of Hezbollah, Hamas and Houthis."

He pointed out that the commander of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guard Qasim Soleimani, who "portrays himself as a man manipulating everyone, is in fact the leader of a gang of militias that destabilize countries."

"We will not allow Khamenei or Soleimani to destroy the Middle East," he said, pointing out that the US administration had developed a "strategy to stifle the IRGC's resources and prevent the flow of arms to the terrorists sponsored by Soleimani."

He stressed that the United States will work to hold Sulaimani "the killer" and will not stop the pressure on Iran until Tehran stops its malicious activities.

The US envoy to Syria, Brian Hawk, said that the Iranian regime is working to strengthen the conflict in the region, stressing that we should not allow Tehran to Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen, referring to the Lebanese model currently based on the broad dominance of the pro-Iranian Hezbollah by force of arms.

Hawk pointed to the presence of 2500 Iranian troops in Syria alone, in addition to 10 thousand elements of sectarian militias, while supporting the Houthis for the launch of ballistic missiles on Saudi Arabia.

Foreign ministers and officials from the United States participated in the international meeting.

Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir drew attention to the threat posed by the Iranian regime in the Middle East and the world, but stressed that "Iran is not a strong country."

He explained that Iran supports terrorism "not only Hezbollah but the rule that was moving freely in Syria and working to destabilize Afghanistan and Pakistan."

The Saudi foreign minister referred to the Iranian regime's use of Syria as a gateway to Hezbollah's terrorist groups.

For his part, the UAE Ambassador to the United States, Yousif Al Otaiba, stressed the need to prevent the recurrence of the Lebanese Hezbollah scenario in Yemen.

Otaiba referred to Iran's continued attempts to thwart efforts to resolve the Yemeni crisis, saying that Geneva did not witness the presence of any official Houthi in the consultations called by the United Nations, referring to the Iranian influence on the Houthis.
