The Euphrates -

Threatened tribal sheikhs in the district of Abu al-Khasib, Basra province, cutting off the carrier line of oil that is exported out of Iraq, in the event of failure to resolve the water crisis in the province.

One of the elders of the judiciary read a statement in which he said: 'The tribes and officials and intellectuals in the province of Abu al-Khasib declare stand in front of the carrier line of oil because of the procrastination of the government and the lack of access to water to the judiciary'.

And demanded the tribes to establish a dam and desalination plant in the judiciary, as well as' extending the pipeline carrier and a large size to the center of the city of Abu al-Khasib, and reached us to cut the oil carrier line, which is exported outside Iraq.

The tribes warned in their statement that the failure to implement the demands of Abu al-Khasib and the delivery of water to its population of 450 thousand people will result in the cutting off of oil fields and pipelines immediately and stop all the ports of Abu Floss and the gas station.
