The head of the civil coalition in the former parliament, Mithal al-Alusi, accused the commander of the Iranian Quds Force, Gen. Qassim Soleimani, of "raping" the Iraqi parliament.

Al-Alusi told Ashqaf News that "the Iraqi Council of Representatives is currently being raped by Soleimani. Now he is the one who has the parliamentary majority. He is the one who controls the election of the new prime minister and even the ministerial cabin through his parliamentary majority."

The head of the civil coalition in the former House of Representatives, the "need to free the Iraqi parliament from Iranian hegemony, and the rejection of all external interventions, the Iraqi internal affairs, and the deputies, especially newcomers to be free to vote on the Prime Minister and cabinet cabinet, away from directives Soleimani.

The political scene in Iraq is constantly moving to choose a president for the next government, while most parties call for the removal of the formation of the government from external interventions, which played a major role in forming successive governments, according to politicians.
