The leader of the Alliance and the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Moqtada al-Sadr, his agreement with the «senior Iraq» to nominate several independent technocrats for prime minister, threatening to take the opposition if rejected nominations.

"We agreed with senior Iraqi officials to nominate several independent technocrats for the premiership and a purely Iraqi decision. The candidate should choose his ministers away from partisan, sectarian and ethnic divisions, but according to correct and acceptable criteria according to specialization, experience and integrity," Sadr wrote in a e-mail on Twitter.

"Some politicians were quick to reject it and reject the idea of independence and even reject the technocrats to return Iraq to the first square, so that the corrupt will return to a new dress and their economic parties and bodies will dominate the people's capabilities and rights," Sadr said.

Sadr stressed that if the politicians continue to reject the idea of independent candidates, he will announce «his involvement and the opposition adopted a method and method».

The political forces in Iraq, which won the confidence of voters in the elections of 12 May last, seek to form the largest bloc to be constitutionally mandated to nominate a prime minister.

A coalition led by Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr and al-Fateh led by Hadi al-Amiri announced a political alliance to form a coalition that would lead Iraq over the next four years.

In last May's election, al-Sadr entered a united list that included the Communist Party and other secular candidates.
