(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Ministry of Commerce held a preparatory meeting to discuss the draft working paper of the Iraqi side in the Iraqi-Moroccan Joint Committee chaired by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administrative Affairs and Prince Habib Al-Waswi and in the presence of representatives of Iraqi ministries and concerned parties.

A statement of the ministry received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of the agent, as saying that "during the meeting discussed the topics and proposals submitted by the members of the Committee to prepare a working paper the Iraqi side as final."

"The draft included proposals for the development of economic and trade relations and the strengthening of economic cooperation and trade exchange between the two countries in addition to activating the work of the Iraqi-Moroccan joint committee by inviting investors and businessmen to enter investment projects in Iraq."

Al-Khashali also discussed Morocco's invitation to participate in international trade fairs held in both countries and to participate in the Baghdad International Exhibition and specialized exhibitions and to facilitate granting Iraqi merchants and industrialists a visa to the Kingdom of Morocco and the establishment of a joint Iraqi-Moroccan businessmen council to strengthen relations between the private sector.
