Parliament met with about 160 members, so 5 short, but they only talked about Basra, per the news, that's the big news over there for now and of course there was a verbal argument lol

There is no accountability for those who do not show up. If they do not want to show up for work, they should be relieved of their positions and given to someone who will. Come on Iraq, grow up.

Mountain Mole:
Sadr is calling for the Parliament to meet on Sunday and anyone who does not show up will pay for it. In 24 hrs we will know if Sadr's threat has more substance than the "surprise" we were all promised. How a government can neglect the basic needs of Basra who foots the bill basically for Iraq is beyond comprehension.

News tonight in Iraq I believe in the basra district burned down the Iranian Embassy. They have had 10 people di in these protest. The people are demanding the Irainian influence leave Iraq. I saw the actual news reel of the Embassy burning down. It is over the water, power, food, lack of money, lack of opportunity. The CBI and PTB sit on their hands while Iraq is falling apart

You can't blame the people of Basra acting up the way they are. All that wealth coming from that part of the country, and they don't have basic needs.

Reuters: Unrest spreads in Iraq as Iranian mission stormed, oil workers held hostage

Could someone please explain this to me, how can Maliki, who is guilty of stealing Billions, not millions, but BILLIONS from his own people, and guilty of the deaths of many of his own people, yet still run for a political office and meddle In the political process. And not be held accountable for ANY of that. Just because he holds a political position? In what world is that acceptable???? Oh obviously in the Iraqi world. Kind of explains why they can’t come to any agreements. . This is just beyond my comprehension.

Steadfast , Maliki had years to put people were he needed them. He gave them jobs, money and opportunities, People also forget that The Sunni's killed of parts of Maliki's family while he was in the military, So it was an Eye for an eye. In the middle east, it's tribal before country identity. Why do you think the Kurds want part of Iran and Pakistan.

WOW... what a great story...... Runs in the Family Kansas City Chiefs running backs coach Deland McCullough went searching for his biological parents. He found them where he never would have expected. -- http://www.espn.com/espn/feature/story/_/id/24505521/the-jaw-dropping-story-nfl-coach-search-family?
