Shafaq News / The spokesman of the Arab tribes in the disputed areas Muzahim al-Hewitt, on Thursday, that the tribes solidarity with the demonstrators in Basra, and will reach their votes for the Kurdistan Regional Government.

"After coordination with the tribes of Basra province and appealing to us, we announce on our part and on behalf of our people in Basra that we will send their votes and messages to the Kurdistan Regional Government, the US government, the European Union, international organizations, the UN Security Council and the League of Arab States,

"We call on international organizations and governments to save our people in Basra from the crimes committed by the government against the people, violations, arrests and torture of innocents as they demand to simplify their rights after being neglected by the government that deals with them with all force and did not mercy them."

"We declare our solidarity with our people and our clans in the province of Basra and we will stand by them and call on all humanitarian organizations to provide relief assistance to them."

"The demonstrations are a constitutional right and the aim of the demonstrators is to achieve the most basic rights and services that have been stolen by the corrupt," he said.

He also warned "the sons of our families in Basra to stay away from the martyrs who are trying to tarnish the reputation of this noble city patient, and we Arab tribes demand the progress of medical aid and food aid and water as they live in injustice on the hands of the government of the authority of the mandate of the poor."
