Iraq has ranked third, according to Access Now, published by Vice News in the list of the world's most hampered countries.

When it comes to limiting opposition and freedom of expression, some governments take radical steps to close the Internet. In all parts of the world, Is more common and usually occurs to control what people do or say.

According to Access Now, published by Vice News, India has the highest rate of Internet blocking, while Pakistan ranked second with 19 closures during the same period and in many countries Stop the Internet as a preventive measure or a reaction in response to collective or potential disturbances, we find this happening after the Turkish military coup failed in 2016 as one of the outstanding examples.

India has blocked the Internet 154 times for its citizens

Pakistan blocked the Internet 19 times

Iraq blocked Internet 8 times

- Syria blocked Internet 8 times

Turkey blocked Internet 7 times

DRC blocked the Internet 5 times

Ethiopia blocked the Internet 5 times

Iran closed the Internet 4 times

Chad closed Internet 3 times
