(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) The Ministry of Oil, on Sunday, the total increase in the quantities exported crude oil and revenue achieved for the month of August.

The ministry spokesman, Assem Jihad, in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} copy of it, "The rate of exports and revenues achieved for the month of August last rose compared to last July, according to preliminary statistics from the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (Sumo), where the amount Exports of crude oil more than 111 million and 61 thousand and 618 barrels, with revenues amounted to more than 7 billion and 729 million and 57 thousand dollars, while the statistics did not record exports from the fields of Kirkuk.

He pointed out that "the daily rate of exports amounted to 3 million and 583 thousand barrels," adding that "the average price per barrel amounted to (69.593) dollars."

Jihad pointed out that "the ministry, through its belief in informing the people about the export operations and the revenues generated from it, took this monthly action."
