"State of law": Abadi will do anything for the second state

Saying "the exemption of Fayadh is illegal" ...

Mohammed al-Baghdadi  31/08/2018 - 16:36 Iraq

The coalition of the "State of Law" led by Nuri al-Maliki, on Friday, that the decision of the outgoing Prime Minister Haider Abadi dismissing Faleh Fayadh of the duty and his position is "illegal", and in it «a very clear political side».

The leader of the coalition, Mohamed Chihod, told (Basneoz) that «the decision of Abadi yesterday to judge the exemption of Faleh Fayadh from the presidency of the People's Assembly and National Security, is illegal, he is an outgoing Prime Minister, and now has no powers, but the powers of running the state , And the decision has a very clear political side ».

"This decision may affect the security situation in the country, and Abadi is ready to do anything in order to obtain the second mandate, and these steps may not lead to serious slides."

Mohamed Chihoud

On Thursday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi issued a decree to exempt Faleh al-Fayadh from his duties as national security advisor and head of the Popular Popular Authority.

"The decision came in view of Mr. Faleh al-Fayyad's involvement in political and party work and his desire to deal with political affairs, which is contrary to the sensitive security tasks he carries out."

He added, «based on the Iraqi constitution in the neutrality of the security and intelligence services and the law of the popular mobilization and regulations and instructions contained in this regard and our directives that prevent the exploitation of sensitive security positions in party activities, and based on the powers vested us decided to exempt Mr. Faleh Fayadh of all his duties».

The statement stressed that the resolution will be implemented from the date of its issuance.

The Iraqi sources have talked about efforts to nominate Faleh al-Fayadh to head the next government, which caused differences between him and Abadi.

Al-Fayadh is the bloc of 'Ata' in the list of 'victory' led by Abbadi, who may lose 30 seats in the event of dissolution of the deputies of Fayyad.
