Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, on Tuesday, the relevant government agencies to support initiatives and campaigns to support the province of Basra in overcoming the water crisis, most notably the initiative of the threshold Husseiniya and the campaign of the Municipality of Baghdad.

A statement to the government media channel that 'Abadi directed the defense and transport ministries to provide a group of tubs for the transfer of drinking water, and directed the Ministry of Oil to provide the necessary fuel for them and the support of the concerned parties also to the cell effort established by the threshold Husseiniya to start the work of rivers and maintenance Desalination plants and street lighting and securing (40) basin for the transport of drinking water and distribution to the affected areas and priorities.

It is noteworthy that the Municipality of Baghdad collected quantities of bottled water to be sent to the areas of Basra province this weekend, contributing to overcome the current situation in which the province, the number of (52) trucks of bottled water and (45) pelvic capacity of 1600 liters, Mobile testers with them to inspect the PCB before formally delivered to the province.
