The statistics department in the province of Sulaymaniyah, the unemployment rate in the province of Kurdistan less than 14%, and that the province is the largest industrial city in Iraq.

"In the industrial sector, the Kurdistan Region witnessed a remarkable development, according to the latest statistics, the province of Kurdistan includes 48% of the Iraqi industries, stressing that the province of Sulaymaniyah is the largest industrial city in Iraq, which includes 36% of Iraqi industries.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) announced last May that the unemployment rate of Iraq's youth is more than 40 percent.
