Arrival of a delegation from the Commission on Human Rights to learn about the water situation in Basra

The Director of the Office of the Human Rights Commission in Basra, Mahdi Tamimi, on Sunday, the arrival of a delegation of the Commission to see the situation of the field of water in the province.

Al-Tamimi said in a statement that 'the serious humanitarian situation in the province of Basra dear and in order to identify the repercussions of this humanitarian file and to reach cooperation in the results that lead to the full dignity of the human beings of their children'.

He stressed that 'the delegation of the High Commission for Human Rights in Iraq, headed by the President of the Commission arrives in Basra to carry out field work and meet with citizens, activists, media and officials'.

The High Commissioner for Human Rights in Iraq, announced on Saturday, it will send a delegation to visit the province of Basra to see the situation there and follow up the cases of poisoning, noting that it was delayed the completion of health projects, service and environmental in the province.
