(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Kurdistan Regional Government is resuming work on suspended projects, including 57 important projects and services in the province of Sulaymaniyah after a four-year hiatus, due to the financial crisis and the war on terrorist gangs.

Sulaimaniyah Governor Hafal Abu Bakr said in a press statement that "the financial crisis caused the last period to stop nearly 3000 projects in the entire Kurdistan region, including 1200 projects in the province of Sulaymaniyah alone."

"After the attempts made with the President and Deputy Chairman of the Kurdistan Regional Council of Ministers and the Minister of Finance and the concerned ministers, we have been informed of the resumption of work in 57 important projects, strategic and service."

The governor of Sulaymaniyah said that the municipality of Sulaymaniyah has been able to use the share of the budget in the implementation of 18 important projects, and took advantage of proceeds from the sale of land in the implementation of 19 other projects.

And between Abu Bakr that the last meeting of the Higher Committee for Oil and Gas in the Kurdistan region decided to nearly $ 50 million to contractors exchange once with work to allocate ten million dollars a month to complete stalled projects, and expressed hope for the resumption of 57 stalled projects immediately after Eid al - Adha. "

Revealed the governor Sulaymaniyah that the cost of completing the 57 projects stalled about 40 billion dinars, and that the money spent in cash, noting the continuation of work in projects that resumed work in two months. Ended
